- Build local capacity for risk reduction and recovery;
- Prevent injuries and death caused by disaster;
- Protect public and private property from disaster impacts; and
- Establish a disaster-resilient economy.
The
Partnership seeks to make disaster resilience a part of every community's routine decision making by coordinating risk reduction and long-term recovery planning activities statewide, resulting in holistic risk reduction efforts that build local capacity among private and public agencies thus making Oregon safer – now and for generations to come.
