The resource pages are currently under development and are intended to provide a brief overview of the natural hazards Oregon communities face as well as links to resources such as:

• State agencies;  
• Regional and national organizations;
• Assessment tools/resources; and
• State's natural hazard chapters

The hazard chapters provide detailed background information on the hazards known to impact Oregon. Each chapter includes information about historical impacts related to that particular hazard and proposed short and long-term actions.

Additionally, you will find resources designed to assist you in protecting your household, business, and/or community from natural hazards by reducing your risk exposure. The resources are intended for those who have the authority and accountability to make a difference in natural hazard protection and loss reduction. These individuals range from those making household and business decisions to those who affect the sustainability of an entire community and beyond (e.g. everyone).
